So with the new catepiller house, a nice aquarium and screen cover, we had one escape!! Luckily Jamison found it without squishing it. The guy was on a mission...The aquarium is located on the top of a 4.5ft cabinet appox 4ft from where he was found. Quite a journey! Pat did a cowapitter count...and there was still missing one. TWO got out! I am happy to say all were located, placed back in the aquarium and the escape routes were secured!. What an adventure for the cowapitters!
Preschool mug shots, take two!
And lately...this is how you find the boys!...they love the view masters!!!

More Butterflies
Invasion of the cowapitters again!. But this time they have started out a little bigger! We dont have to wait as longWe went out to Avoca where Pat's old class mate, Ina, has a nursery and had a class all about butterflies. She taught the boys the "wiggly giggly dance" but they were not interested in doing the dance. She helped the boys find some nice big ones!
Jamison , in typical Jamison form was explaining something to one of the boys...heavens only knows what.
On the hunt!
and Peter just looking cute!
and yes, that is a turkey...Pirate Pete! The boys were in heaven. Turkey, 4 cats and a puppy. Forget the butterfly class....they loved the animals!

Dr and Dentist
Well, it was time for our annual check ups and since the boys have not been to the dentist I made one of those apts also! Rough week for a 4yo
At the dentist the boys were awesome! (except for swallowing the floride, oopps) Peter liked that he got a bag of goodies...if you need dental floss he is your man!. Jamison was a bit talkative and when the hygenist was talking about germs in his mouth....he said "stop talking about germs!" Then to the doctor. What I did not know is that they get shots at this visit, 4 of them! We were not prepared. They were brave but ultimately left there screeming and swearing that the dentist was a whole lot better! and at the doctor they only got stickers.
The boys are growing and healthy!
Jamison 41lbs (83%) and 41 3/4 inches (78%) with a BMI of 16!
Peter 37.5lbs (61%) and 41 1/4 inches (67%) with a BMI of 15!
there is a little concern with their eyesight...their genetics state that they will both likely need glasses...but we were assured it is a little early to know. They played the "pirate game" pretty well but I am guessing from their responses and their actions that they dont have 20/20 vision. They are not running into anything and can spot critters in the grass pretty well so there is no major concern.
Preschool Mug Shots to be added on Sunday!

Cooling off
It has been a little warm lately so we broke out the pool again for some fun. Not sure of the game we invented..maybe a cross between water polo and water basketball.
Earlier this week Dad taught us how to play Apple tennis....yes he is making serves with apples from the tree in the back yard.
And Dad found a snake in the yard. Mom did not hestitate to scoop him up and give a short herpetology lesson.HI garter snake!
The boys were brave and pet him...poor snake

And we let him go, back in the grass, to live his life in the yard. I am sure he will be caught again someday.

Weekend fun
All six Cullen Boys (and parents of course) visited Gma Jill and Gpa Don for the weekend!
Are you ready...Here we come!!!!!! Aidan, Peter, Ian, Jamison and Kean....Finn is still too small to keep up the big boys.I dont think this is Gpa's idea of relaxing? what do you think? Hold onto your hat Gpa!
There was a lot of wrestling and little Aidan wanted to get in on the fun. Seconds later he jumped into the mess. The boys used their imaginations....here they were climbing up a mountain...until there was concern that the water pipes would be torn out of the wall.

Here are the 5 cutest monsters i have ever seen.Gpa Don made is world famous icecream, Pat was "helping" The boys were helping too. The most important job ever....licking the beater. It was like watching 5 hungry birds begging momma bird Tim for more.
yes..that is ice cream all over their faces!
Then we needed to burn off that ice cream so off we went on a hike on the bike trail .
The boys would have races...and then have to stop and rest.
Tim brought along his remote control F-16 to fly over the open field. Ian expressed concern "Dad, i though you can fly real planes...why cant you fly this one very well?" Well Ian, he can fly it a whole lot better that Pat can....right into the trees! The boys on their way to retieve the fallen F-16.There was also a tasty blueberry patch. Here is gma showing the boys what berries to eat.Back at the ranch....Pat the ole horse was getting his work out.
After a bit...Jamison gave himself a little quiet time..not sure why he chose the highchair...

Butterflies and mustard
This weekend we went to the Butterfly Garden at Olbrich Gardens. The boys were a little sad that no butterflies landed on them but they got really close. When we stopped to look at the hatchery.......Jamison proceeded to tell the lady the complete life cycle of the monarch butterfly. She said that Jamison could take her job. I apologized... she said "no worries he is cute", If she only knew.
While at the garden we were tasked with exploring the garden to collect stamps. If we found all of them we would get free icecream!! The boys did a fab job and we all enjoyed chocolate icecream! We also stopped for some cute pictures for mom.
The weinermobile even made an appearance!(and now that I am looking at the picture...Jamison is grabbing his weiner. nice picture there Jamison.)
