Easter Bunny

So what is harder than getting a picture of the elusive Easter Bunny? Getting a good picture of two boys looking for easter baskets! I looked at the pictures from last weekend and there is nothing really worthy of posting, backs of heads and corners of couches. Wini gave a good chase but the E.Bunny got away! She also stole and ate one of the hard boiled eggs but it did not seem to bother her. I guess she figured that if she cant get the rabbit...she will get one of the eggs!.

On the PT note....Jamison has finally decided to poop on the toilet!!! We are all very excited!!!! Now we are working on the night training. Boy am I looking forward to the day of no pull-ups!!

Hopefully some fun pictures this weekend.

Pat's remote office and interns

Pat choses to work at home once a week. Since we have not started with the attic, he established a work space in the garage. Very Stylish!
He has also taken on some interns, both fascinated with the "puter""You see dad, first you need to go to the search train (engine) google, go to George's website and download........that is how you do it!" says Jamison.

Thanks Lily and Lucy

Is this gold Mia and Tia and Bling Bling McQueen? OR Lily, Jamison Peter and Lucy? You decide. Thanks L&L for our Easter surprise!!!!

Easter Eggs

What happens when you have 2 boys and 3 cups of of dye? Beautiful Eggs! And the Easter bunny even came to pick them up!

We also have some beautiful colored fingers also!

Dont know why but the red did not disolve so we were limited to the blues and yellows.

Viola! too bad Jamison and Peter do not like to eat eggs. I guess we will be having a lot of egg salad!

Baby animals and melting snow

This weekend we went to the A-Z Farms. It is lambing season. We were able to pet lambs, goats, cows, chicks, ducklings, rabbits, pigs and turkeys. Ok, we did not pet the turkeys but they did make lots of fun sounds. We were able to ask the farmers questions...like how old is the baby? (there is a small black lamb in this picture but it is hard to see it.This one was 5 days old! and a lot like Wini, she could not find a comfortable place to take a nap.Peter's favorite animals were the baby ducks...they were super soft. (Peter is the one with the balls on his head, Jamison, of course in red)The goats were cool but a little aggressive, he nibbled on Peter's finger, it must be feeding time. There have been some nice warm days...and with that...we have ice. The boys were out trying to chop it up in hopes that it melts faster. Melting snow...means water and mud! I swear we wash their jackets daily and thank goodness for the awesome German rain pants!

We also went to Matel's Grand Opening! where Bucky the Badger himself was going to be there. Both boys were all excited to see the famous badger...each wore their badger t-shirt. But when they saw him...they froze and hid behind me. Bucky was helpful and was putting more toys on the shelves and entertaining the customers and did not seem to sad that they boys refused to say hi. At one point we even saw him standing on his head...thought it was funny but refused to give him a "high five". I was hoping I would have a picture but no such luck. The trip was not a complete bust, Jamison found "something AMAZING!" (some trains for their GeoTrack train set) and luckily for them they brought their wallets. Everyone was happy, except for me who just wanted a picture with Bucky Badger. Maybe next time!

Crazy sledding and snow fun

I dont know who's bright idea it was to do this...I think it was Jamison. I see a life of stunt men in their future. A mother's nightmare!

These are not my kids

Cant really say anything about this.....future rapper? or a boy being a boy?

Dodgeville State park

We are hoping that there will not be many more opportunities to go sledding this year so we thought to get at least one more day in!. This time at Gov Dodge State Park. There were lots of places to sled but most were littered with all those nasty trees and picnic benches. It took 2 boy-powers worth to get Pat started on the hill! Maybe momma should help!

Hi HO Cheerios!

We cracked open a new game, Hi HI Cheery-os! It was really fun!. It appears that Jamison has his momma's characteristic of sticking out the tongue when concentrating. The running total is Peter-1, Jamison-1, momma-2. And both boys got haircuts. Peter expressed that he likes the shaggy hair better and I reassured him that it will grow back in no time!

And for those that have been following our poop woes...Jamison is a "one-hit wonder" , nothing since Friday. Come on Jamison, you can do it!

Spencer has joined our family

This is a picture of a boy who pooped on the toilet!!! And to celebrate his accomplishment we were able to take Spencer, the train, off the wall and out of the box! Now we just have to hope that today is the first day of a "poop in the pants"- free world!
We noticed that Peter's hair is getting a bit curly! Between the two of use one of the boys should have curly hair!. But, the boys hair is quite long and shaggy...so it is off to the barber shop we go!

Week in review

Not much has happened this past week. Oh wait! Walgreens opened in Mt Horeb. We were all so excited we had to go opening night...and we needed new shower scrubbies. Pat was a bit disappointed when he learned that it is not open 24hrs, we never knew that Walgreens could close. I guess we will still have to rely on KwikTrip for our after 10pm needs.
Once you have kids you tend to forget about the animals. Reggie and Indy are still kicking, even though Reggie is pushing 20! and Indy still is psycho.
We spent the weekend cleaning and the boys were so helpfull! (Peter also stayed in his jammies the entire day!) We went as far as moving furniture and mopping under the couch!
and I cant say much about this....except that boy cant hold up his pants!
