Last stop, Carmel IN at our friends the Taller's. Miss Jenni planned a bbq, backyard fireworks and a parade! Just for us! The heat and humidity were really high! so the kids went to the community pool to cool down while Miss Jenni and I relaxed with a beer.
The neighbors down the street invested in fireworks and had a pretty awesome display.
The next day was the 4th of July parade.
Practice your "smile and wave". Fortunately we were at the end of the parade route, most of the candy was already gone but the kids still got a bag full!
The Carmel parade puts the Mount Horeb Frolic parade to shame (but our firetrucks are still cooler).
The grownups were pretty excited to see the corvette club drive by! Last 6 hours of the trip. The boys were exhausted and slept for three of them!
Woohoo! we are finally home!
