Short Break

Sadly, our digital camera has died. We will be happy if for some reason it comes back to life after we hit it on the table a couple times but I am not holding my breath. Pat is excited and has started on-line "shopping" but that purchase needs to wait.

Ale and Valentina came to stay with us the past couple weeks and enjoyed themselves a lot! We learned some italian words and more importantly, Pat learned how to make Pasta Carbonara! His new favorite dish. How can you go wrong with bacon, cheese butter and eggs!

A morning at the zoo

Do these orangutan's look familiar?? Wait, that is my family! Saturday we went to the Henry Vilas Zoo and had a great time!

Uncle Tom's Cabin

We had a wonderful time at what appears to be a re-occuring event...Weekend at Uncle Toms' Cabin. Katie flew in from the big city. Gparents, Rob (and family) and Matt (and family) all came! The only one missing was Pat, as he was recovering from having his appendix removed earlier in the week!Everyone enjoyed digging in the sand and playing in the water!!
Katie gave the boys a hippity-hop.....which lead to chaos!! (surprisingly no one got too hurt!)It must have been a super special weekend because we got to eat Chocolate/Peanut Butter Pops! (can see the trend in the pictures...all making funny faces or have their tongues out!)

Summer Time fun

We are still working on riding these darn bikes. Peter is still a little frustrated about not having any pedals...I guess we are going to have to look for something with pedals. We have not seen rain in a really long time. The grass is very crunchy! not much fun to walk on with bare feet.

And we have a family of rabbits over there that are driving Wini crazy, although the boys really like chasing them!

Washing the car

The boys have become great "helpers" They did a really good job with washing the cars. Now...I will have to remind them that they loved helping when I am trying to get them to clean their room or cut the grass when they are older!!

A real man can drive a pink Jeep

Move over Peter!!! Watch out for a new driver!!!
Real men can drive a pink jeep (found on craigslist) We are learning how to drive but tend to use objects like trees and cars to crash and stop. Once we get that steering thing under control we will be all set!

Birthday Fun

We had the best Birthday EVER! Thanks MaryJo!. We went to the firestation and met real fire men AND got to go in any fire truck/ambulance we wanted!!! Fireman Eric even gave us a ride on the new, supercool firetruck! It was awesome!!

And then we had Gma and Gpa Van and Gma Gpa Cullen over for presents and cake!!

That is a caterpiller if you can not tell....
